For Millmount Healthcare, “No Job is Too Big / Too Small” and our packaging equipment is flexible in terms of the batch sizes that we can accommodate. Within some companies, small run sizes are not viable. Our overheads are small and we can cater for products that some companies may wish to offload.
Millmount Healthcare provides blister packaging services of all forms of solid dose (tablets, hard and soft gel capsules). This is ensured with a range of blister packaging equipment that will suit our partners’ volumes and running speeds.
Our Blister Packaging services are provided in presentations such as PVC & PVDC, Triplex, Aclar, Child Resistant and Alu Alu (Cold – Form). The Alu Alu form of blister packaging involves the laminating of Aluminium foil to Aluminium foil which is frequently used for highly sensitive products. This provides Millmount Healthcare with an advantageous selling point.

Blister Packaging Machines
We run both Noack & Uhlmann blister lines at our manufacturing plant. These machines are equipped with image detection, automatic cartoning, Bollini/Vignette application, auto leaflet insertion and banding. They are also flexible in terms of the products being packed and the materials which enable us to cope with any requirement from complex hand filling operations to high speed, high volume blistering and cartoning. (1m+ tablets per machine per shift). We have just completed validation of our new UPS 1240 Uhlmann Blister packer. This is tied into a 200 per min AS 300 cartoner. We also have an Uhlmann UPS 300 and this machine can cold form also.
