I.M.B approval for Millmount at CityNorth

Millmount Healthcare Limited is pleased to announce that the Irish Medicines Board (IMB) has recently granted the company a licence to manufacture human medicinal products at their new manufacturing facility at the CityNorth Business Campus, County Meath. The I.M.B authorises manufacturers under the Medicinal Products Regulations 2007 and 2009.

Millmount Healthcare, which was established in 2000, has made significant progress as a highly effective pharmaceutical outsourcing business. With the successful completion of their I.M.B audit at the CityNorth site, Millmount Healthcare can now boast 3 fully licenced, cGMP compliant manufacturing facilities in Ireland. The company anticipates the commencement of manufacturing at the CityNorth facility to begin in the coming weeks.

The attainment of their latest I.M.B licence comes almost to the day of the company celebrating their tenth anniversary, a fact which Managing Director and founder Pascal Keogh feels signals a remarkable achievement for the company. "The new facility allows us to broaden the services that Millmount Healthcare can provide. We are now in a position to procure components, pack and store finished products which is particularly significant with launch to market products. We have the ideas and expertise in place to really focus on the ever-evolving needs of our partners. Having the CityNorth manufacturing facility fully licenced is a critical piece of our business plan and adds real value to our capabilities and to the company."

Millmount Healthcare has partnership agreements in place with a number of the world's top pharmaceutical companies. These agreements present Millmount with the opportunity to showcase their expertise in the field of packaging, storage and distribution of medicinal products. Additional partnering agreements are currently under negotiation.
