Millmount complete major deblistering job

1 million packs de-blistered at CityNorth!


Millmount Healthcare have completed the large scale deblistering project for several of their European-based partners.

The project involved the recovery, from blister back to bulk format of 1.1 million packs over a 1 month period.

The deblistering job was completed with the assistance of an automatic Sepha Pressout Universal deblistering machine, which empties tablets and capsules from reject blister packs at a rate of up to 50 blisters per minute. The Sepha Universal has the capacity to handle medium to large batches of all types of blister formats, including push-through blisters, child resistant and multi-product blisters. 

Millmount Healthcare's Managing Director Pascal Keogh commented, "with the Sepha Universal deblistering machine at our disposal, it lends itself to the economic recovery of tablets and capsules in a cGMP environment, without affecting the ongoing operations of our customers."
